Missed Video Game Opportunities

I think without a doubt, that people tend to fall into a set of genres for their gaming desires based upon what got them going. I am obviously a child of video games. Board games can be fun, but heck, video games were created when I was a kid so there's an instant [...]

Also,

Who is Anonymous (ie, not logged in) that's been answering the Movie Quiz? Must be someone who knows how to find it and used it before, but isn't logged in because there's no other way to get there other than typing in the address or using a bookmark if there's no link present. [...]

ahem…

Once again, the wishlist is not restricted to a “kids” thing. Meaning me, Annie and Sean. We used to do those secret santa things like 20 some odd years ago. It'd be nice to at least have a secret secret santa in the form of this wishlist, but you gotta participate, or [...]

Shreds

Oh, and if you want to laugh your ass off, check out these “shreds” on youtube. Someone, or multiple people, have done some quasi mashups of either concert footage or music videos to their own soundtrack of extremely well synced bad musicianship. Watch as Eddie Van Halen can barely play, Lars Ulrich can't [...]

media center redux

In my previous glee at being able to play the 1080 hd program streams on the ps3, or iMac for that matter, therefore not needing to re-encode into avc/mp4/etc to save space, I completely forgot about the fact that my projector only outputs 720p. That's not a complaint, but maintaining 1080 is overkill for [...]
