Here's a neat little project. Granted there are others like it that I've seen, but this one is a little more interactive in gathering information. It's a community based project that is attempting to map IP addresses to geographical locations.

The title speaks for itself. A gathering of newsgroup postings from over the years. Some are serious and some are quite hilarious. Such as this Pulp Fiction derivative:

This is more or less for my own little notepad here. But if you want the debug menu in Safari without using some app, here you go (ripped from a comment on /.):
Quit Safari. Enter the following command in Terminal …
defaults write com.apple.safari IncludeDebugMenu 1

Currently we are monitoring the Mars-Earth game which began in late 1960 and is still in progress. As far as we can tell, Earth has been the only Lobber, with scattered reports of a possibly thwarted Mars invasion of Earth in 1938.
