well, it finally happened. only had 1.2 miles to go as i left from work, so i headed the opposite way into the country so i could be sure to stop off and snap a picture. as luck would have it, it's still rush hour on lacy road after 6pm, but of course that's only AFTER i get on it. it was dead when i turned onto it and was the reason for me going down that road in the first place. took about 5 minutes just to get this shot with loads and loads of cars crawling by at 10mph being overly cautious as they see a guy standing outside his car on the side of the road. i must say, it was pretty cool to see all those zero's tick over.

of course, i can't take all the credit as i've only had the car for a little over a year now. that equated to about 13k miles. so i guess this pic is really for my dad and sue who owned the car previously.
