When I heard that Bryan Singer had left X-Men to direct a new Superman movie, I thought it was absurd. First off, X-Men is tops when it comes to comic book adaptations on screen, so why on earth would the driving force behind making that successful leave it? Secondly, for me there is no other Superman than Christopher Reeve, so there is no way I'm going to buy a reinvention of the wheel. So not knowing much about this Brandon Routh guy had me wondering if the magic could really be brought back. Well, looking at this and some other fan shots snagged during shooting, I think it just might be all right.
