well, today the little goldfish bit the dust. honestly, i think the guy was suicidal. for the second time now, i woke up to seeing him with his face stuck behind the filter. a few weeks ago he did this, but after freeing him, he healed up after a few days. only this time, instead of just one side deflating, it would appear he got away during the night after breaking one of the bags, only to return and let the other side of his face get stuck. so when i unstuck him this morning, his puffers or whatever were completely gone and deflated. so i turned off the pump and let him sit in the water with some food while i went to work.

so, i come home from work today and there he is, floating upside down.

bah…

could have at least tried to jump out of the water.
