This has blown my mind. Earth as you've never seen it in a time lapse movie of Messenger's departure from Earth on its way to Mercury. At a rate of 4 minutes per frame, the video is truly boggling. And what's even more amazing is that it looks like the cg'ers over the years have tried too hard to make Earth look amazing on the big screen. It really looks quite cg being just a shiny blue and white marble. Still…. it's an absolutely amazing video.
