Upgrade my library
So that DRM free iTunes I mentioned a while back came out today, and out of all the tracks I've bought over the years, which I can't even count, only 4 are upgradable. Now, at first I thought maybe it's because I've used some nefarious tools in the past to strip the drm off the previous purchases that it only detected 4 in my local library since they aren't all stripped, however the 4 it picked are among the ones I've stripped so it must be checking a database of past purchases on their servers. The even odder thing is that of the 4 it picked, I did buy more of the same artist, even tracks from the same damn album (Dreamboat Annie by Heart), but it only showed that I had one track (Magic Man) available for upgrade. WTF?
